Akza was founded in 2013 by a group of Mexican businessmen that wanted to form part of the most important projects in the country. Since then, based on the experience of Akza´s team in different fields, the company has provided consultancy services in decision-making process and development of projects to important international firms.
ISAAC ASSA FARCA
Mexican businessman with years of experience in the garment and textile fields, as well as in international trade. Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Zentrix Industries, Ltd., and also a Member of the Board and Partner of Insignia Life.
Based on his knowledge and experience, in 2013 he founded Akza, of which he has served as General Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
FRIDA MASRI AMKIE
Having graduated in International Relations from the Universidad Iberoamericana and obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the National Institute of Public Administration (Spanish acronym: INAP), she worked for ten years in the public sector and served as Director of the International Republican Institute, being responsible for the said organization’s program with political parties, state congresses and NGO’s.
Having subsequently worked in the Mexican office of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, where she was responsible for program planning and execution, public relations and events, she has been a project coordinator for Akza, of which she is currently an Associate Director.
SARAH SAED SIDAUY
PROJECT MANAGER. ENERGY
Having received a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the Universidad Iberoamericana, and been awarded a Diploma in Lobbying Techniques and Political Negotiation by the same institution, she worked in the ProMéxico organization as a leader of the program devoted to training projects in international business.
She has been an Akza Project Coordinator since 2015.
ANITA HASS BUCAY
PROJECT MANAGER. INFRAESTRUCTURE
Having obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the Universidad Anáhuac, specializing in Social Responsibility, and been certified by the Government of Mexico City in the areas of human trafficking, human rights, government ethics and responsible management, she has been responsible for private-sector and federal-government social projects in the Mexico City Legislature and is also a member of the Board of Graduates of the Global Studies Faculty of the Universidad Anáhuac.
She has been an Akza Project Coordinator since 2015.
MONICA KLEIMAN ZLOCHISTY
PROJECT MANAGER. DEFENSE AND SECURITY
Monica has a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Universidad Anahuac and has several courses in national and international security and defense issues.
She worked in the Israeli Ministry of Defense in Mexico, being responsible for the relationship with local government agencies, as well as planning and executing strategies to strengthen collaboration between both countries.
Since 2019, she has collaborated in Akza as Project Manager.
REGINA HERNÁNDEZ ÁLVAREZ
PROJECT MANAGER. WATER SECTOR AND FEDERAL STATES
Law Graduate from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, with an MBA and a Master´s degree in Human Resources Management in Spain, as well as a Master in Housing and Sustainability by ITAM.
Having experience in the Mexican Federal Government, as well as in public management and Legislative Power, in the area of housing, real estate, environment, gender equity, and health. In the private sphere, she has experience in Project Management, and lobbying.
ANDREA ARIAS FERNÁNDEZ
Bachelor’s Degree in international Relations from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), having studies in Petroleum Engineering at the same University. She attended the University of Calgary, participating in the courses “Regulation of Oil and Gas Operations” and “Public Engagement and Community Consultation”
She collaborated as intern in the Mexican Embassy to the United Kingdom, working in different areas such as educational, multilateral and energy affairs and worked as Director of Planning and Promotion in the Ministry of Energy.
In 2018, she was appointed to represent the Ministry of Energy at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) and the Global Petroleum Show (GPS) booths.
MARIANA PÉREZ CASTILLA
Having graduated in International Relations from the Universidad Iberoamericana, specializing in Global Policy. Experience as Jr. consultant in Public Affairs and Political consulting. Responsible for customer service, mapping and elaborating reports on education in the Ministry of Education at the Embassy of Spain in Mexico.
GENARO CÁZARES ESCALANTE
Bachelor in International Business with a Master´s Degree in Government and Public Policy Senior Management from Ortega y Gasset Institute, with extensive experience in Federal and local Government at the Ministry of Economy, creating the correct link with the Private Initiative for advice on projects in conjunction with Regulations and Norms.
In addition, he has a Diploma in International Commercial Negotiations by El Colegio de Mexico.
RAFAEL AVILES GARCÍA
Lawyer with a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Universidad Iberoamericana. He has more than 10 years of experience in Public Administration.
He worked in several Federal Government Agencies in different areas regarding public security, highlighting his experience in project development under the scheme of public-private partnerships (PPP).
LIRLET BENITEZ NAVA
Engineer Architect from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), and been awarded a Diploma in Politics, Institutionality and Legislation in, from and for the Social and Solidarity Economy from the Universidad Iberoamericana, as well as some courses on transparency and political communication.
She collaborated in the Senate of the Republic, as advisor to the Housing Commission. She also has experience in the airport sector, in the regulatory review of Projects of Ground Transport Centers, as well as in the development and integration of the Universal Accessibility Projects. She participated as a consultant in the regulatory review of many CARSO projects.
IGNACIO DÁVILA MONRAZ
Bachelor’s Degree in in Political Science and Public Management from ITESO, and a Master´s Degree in Senior Management of Government and Public Policies from the Ortega y Gasset Institute – Vasconcelos. He has worked in local governments, as well as in the federal government; he was also part of an international organization with 42 member countries where he built bridges of understanding and collaboration during his management.

Law Graduate with honours from Universidad Anáhuac del Sur, and received a Master of Law, Economy and Public Policy by Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He has several Diplomas and specialization courses in commercial matters and Corporate Law at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), Universidad Panamericana and the Mexican Bar Association.
He´s been Chief Legal Officer since 2013, when Akza was created.
ANA LAURA CÁRDENAS ELIZONDO
LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE DEPUTY DIRECTOR
Law Graduate from Universidad Panamericana, with PhD in Law studies at the same University, as well as Administration of Service Institutions studies at ESDAI.
Having more than fifteen years of experience in the public and private sector, specializing in business and corporate law, within companies and organizations such as Sigma Alimentos, Universidad Panamericana and Consultores Estratégicos Integrados de México.
PAOLA ARCINIEGA GÓMEZ
Paola has a Bachelor degree in International Relations specialized in Business in a Global context by Universidad Anáhuac Campus Norte. She has worked in the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations (COMEXI) at the department of Events and Memberships and Universia at the area of Products and Channels of the department of Social Responsibility of Banco Santander. Also, she participated in the planning of the 4° Latin American Think Tanks Summit in Mexico
She works in Akza as Research Leader since 2018.
